I'm currently writing a familiy history on the descendants after Gulleik GRIMSLI (1767-1827). Quite a few of those emigrated to the US. On an old postcard, my G-grandmother's brother wrote that he was now working with their uncle. The card was sendt from Verdi, MN. They had two uncles in the US, Sven Olsen KVAM (or QUAM) and John L. Kvam/ Quam. Any info on the persons in mention would be appriciated.
