PROM, HOFMAN, NESSER, JANSEN, GULDE, VALET: Looking for information on the family of John Prom and Mary Hofman. John Prom was born abt. July 1855 in Luxembourg to Heinrich Prom and Susanna Neuhengen. John was married twice, once to a M. Junger and the second time to Mary Hofman (abt. 1894, possibly in Wisc.). John had at least 12 children that I know about:
John Prom, George Prom, Henry Prom, Edward Prom, Mary Nesser, Clare Gulde, Susan Jansen, Lawrence Prom, Theodore Prom, Flora Valet, Mary J. Prom, and Anna M. Prom. I found reference to John and his family in
Marshfield Twp., Lincoln Co., MN for both the 1900 and 1920 census records. I am a descendent of Heinrich and Susanna's daughter, Mary Prom Peters. The Social Security Death Index shows possible death dates for
George Prom (2/12/1913-9/1962); Edward Prom (2/19/1899-1/1971 St. Cloud) and Lawrence Prom (3/27/1916-11/1985 St. Cloud). Any help on locating
descendents of this family would be much appreciated. Thanks

DIGRE: I have recently found out that William Digre came to endricks, MN from Norway in the late 1800's. Paul Digre was his son. After living in Hendricks for a while he sent tickets for his mother Elizabeth Digre, and two sisters Dagney and Borghild. I have reason to believe that he came to Hendricks with his step-brothers. I would love to hear from anyone with knowledge of any of the Digre's in Hendricks. Thanks
